Site management and health and safety are an integral part of all fit out and refurbishment work undertaken by Welconstruct and remains a priority for the company and its workforce.
When acting as principal contractors, Welconstruct is totally responsible for health & safety during construction. The team possesses an invaluable knowledge and expertise of the construction process which contributes greatly to compliance of CDM. Welconstruct develops an essential health & safety plan to protect those working in and around the project site.
The plan:
- eliminates hazards where feasible
- reduces risks from those hazards that cannot be eliminated
- provides information on residual risks if they are significant
On completion full operational and maintenance manuals are issued by the building refurbishment and office fit out.
