The operating space of De Puy, a leading manufacturer of medical equipment, has been increased by Welconstruct by extending an existing mezzanine floor and negating the need for relocation. Adrian Johnson, explains: “De Puy’s initial sales area was too small and not suitable for the needs of the staff. We extended the mezzanine floor by 195m2 - around the size of two tennis courts - and installed benches, shelves, heating, ventilation and air conditioning to create an instantly accessible workspace.” Project managed by PM Services, the extension and fit out lasted only a few months with staff and equipment being allowed back on site and working within a matter of weeks.
